Notary near me
One tap shows the three nearest notary bureaus that are open at this minute: distance in metres, walking minutes, phone and directions. If nothing nearby is open, we tell you who opens next and when. 283 bureaus in 52 cities; the status follows the Chamber hours, breaks and public holidays included. Your location never leaves your phone. Foreigners are served by any notary with a passport; documents in other languages need a notarized Georgian translation, which we provide.
Your location is computed in the browser and never sent anywhere.
Offline mode. The list is as of your last visit; calling and directions still work.
Will I make it today?
You need a notary not "now" but "after work, 17:40-19:00"? Enter your free window and we show which bureaus you can reach in time: arrival is computed from the distance, breaks and closing are respected, and less than 15 minutes does not count.
How it works
- Location. The browser asks for permission once; the coordinates stay on your device. Without permission, pick a city.
- Status. Computed per bureau in Tbilisi time: open, on a break or closed, and when it opens next. On a public holiday only the bureaus the Chamber lists as working show as open.
- Three nearest. Open bureaus are sorted by distance; walking minutes assume 75 m/min, the same as the directory. "Directions" opens Google Maps from your point.
- Offline. The page and the list are stored on your phone; you can look up and call without a connection.
What a visit costs
Fees are the same across Georgia, so being close and open matters more than "where is it cheaper". Exact amounts in the calculator (Georgian):

Frequently asked questions
Where is my location sent?
Nowhere. The coordinates stay in the browser: the list (data.json) is downloaded once and distances are computed on your phone. Neither your location nor your choices are sent to the server. ?lat=&lon= appears in the link only if you share it yourself.
Why do I need location if I can pick a city?
In city mode we show who is open right now in that city, but we cannot compute distances. With your location the list is sorted by metres and shows walking minutes; in Tbilisi that is the difference between 10 and 40 minutes.
What does "open now" mean?
The status is computed from the Notary Chamber hours in Tbilisi time, taking breaks and public holidays into account (17 days a year). For a closed bureau we show when it opens next. Calling ahead is still worth it, especially on Saturday.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. After the first visit this page, the directory home page and the list of all 283 bureaus are stored on your phone. Offline you can still see who is open and call; bureau pages you have opened at least once also load. Fresh data is fetched as soon as the connection is back.
How do I install it as an app?
Android/Chrome: tap "Install app" or choose "Install app" in the browser menu. iPhone: in Safari, "Share" → "Add to Home Screen". Nothing is downloaded from a store, it takes almost no space, and a long press on the icon opens "Near me" and "Open now" directly.
Do notaries speak English? Do I need a translation?
The Chamber list does not state languages; many Tbilisi and Batumi notaries work with foreign clients, so call first. A foreign passport is enough for identification, but documents in a foreign language are notarized together with a certified Georgian translation. Send a photo of your document on WhatsApp and we will quote a notarized translation within minutes.
Is this an official service?
No. notariusebi is an independent directory; the data comes from the public list of the Notary Chamber and is refreshed regularly. Fees are identical across Georgia (Government Decree No. 507), so choose a notary by distance and hours.
